The 29er European Championship 2025, held in the iconic waters of Lake Garda, brought together the best youth sailors from across the continent for a week of challenging, high-intensity racing.
Among the 251 teams competing, our Gold Winds riders delivered strong, consistent performances that reflect the work behind our international program.
Henric Wigforss & William Drakenberg, from KSSS and members of the Gold Winds riders, finished 20th overall after a championship marked by smart sailing and solid decision-making.
Selma Hård & Lukas Wolfgang, from GKSS, fellow Gold Winds 29er nternational Team placed 18th overall and 3rd in the Mixed category, showcasing their versatility and competitive edge in a highly skilled fleet.
This championship leaves us with positive momentum and great confidence. The level of the fleet was incredibly high, and our athletes proved they can stand among the best in Europe.
With eyes now set on the upcoming World Championship, the team is more motivated than ever to finish the season on a high note.
